Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) package

Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Pork Sausage Roll

1 clove

Garlic, minced

3 tablespoons

All-purpose flour

2 cups

2% milk

2 teaspoons

Minced fresh thyme

1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper

Additional minced fresh herbs for garnish

Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat; add sausage and cook until golden brown and no longer pink, crumbling the sausage as you go. Drain off half the drippings.

  2. Add garlic; sauté for 2 more minutes. Sprinkle flour and cook for 2 more minutes.

  3. Slowly stir in milk, making sure flour and sausage are incorporated. Bring to a simmer over medium low heat. Mix in fresh thyme, black pepper, and salt to taste.

  4. Simmer for 5-10 minutes over medium low heat, until gravy is fragrant and thick. Adjust seasonings and serve over warm biscuits. Garnish with remaining fresh herbs.
