Ham and Brie Croissant
Ham Sandwich Idea
The ultimate deli sandwich. Serve full-size for lunch, or cut into smaller portions held together with a toothpick for an app. Recipe by Molly Yeh.
Ingredients

1 tablespoon | butter |
1 tablespoon | olive oil |
1/2 | yellow onion, sliced 1/8” thick |
2 tablespoons | white wine |
1 | sandwich-sized croissant |
3 ounces | |
2 ounces | brie cheese, sliced 1/4” thick |
4 slices | Fuji apple, unpeeled, sliced 1/8” thick |

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Heat butter and olive oil in medium skillet over medium heat. Add yellow onion and stir 10-15 minutes until translucent and caramelized. Deglaze pan with wine and stir onions for 30 seconds. Set aside.

Slice croissant in half and top with ham, Brie, caramelized onions and apple slices.

Place sandwich open on sheet pan or cookie tray and place into preheated oven until the Brie softens, about 4 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow 3 minutes to cool.
