1/2 teaspoon

baking powder

1/4 teaspoon

baking soda

Directions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.

  2. Whisk oil, buttermilk and eggs in a large bowl. Add mashed potatoes, stuffing, cheese and sausage; mix well.

  3. Whisk flour, baking powder and baking soda in a small bowl. Gently fold dry ingredients into potato mixture until well combined.

  4. Spray both sides of waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Place 1/4 – 1/2 cup of the mashed potato mixer onto waffle maker, depending on the size of your waffle iron. Spread into an even layer. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3 minutes
